But if his head’s been turned, then maybe it’s for the best.

You don’t want a player staying if his heart’s not in it. We’ve seen what that looks like — half-hearted performances, dressing room unrest, and the whole team suffers. If he wants the move, let’s make sure the club gets what he’s worth, reinvests properly, and we move forward stronger.
