Fair play to the club, it’s nice to have an early release for a change. No waiting until mid-summer, no endless rumours or leaks—just a proper reveal, giving us all a bit of a lift as the off-season drags on. And what a kit it is.

The 2025/26 home shirt is a real beauty. Classic quarters, of course, but with some smart updates that feel like a nod to our roots and a push towards the future. The badge isn’t just slapped on the front—it’s everywhere. Embossed into the fabric, like a watermark of pride. Subtle, but powerful.

You’ve got ‘The Pirates’ printed proudly on the neckline, ‘Goodnight Irene’ tucked inside the back (goosebumps), and some lovely detailing around the collar and sleeves. It’s not just a shirt—it’s a statement.

Nice touch as well seeing players from both the men’s and women’s teams, and the academy too, modelling the kit. Feels like a full club effort, which is exactly how it should be.
